01Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Vexil LLC ("Vexil", "we", "us" or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of New Mexico, USA, handles personal information. Vexil is the controller responsible for your information.
Registered address: 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. Contact: [email protected].
02What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- our website at vexil.io (the "Site");
- our apps, including Blink for macOS (the "Apps");
- our games, including Bone Yard: Stickman Fighter and Junk Magnet: Scrap Tycoon for iOS and Android (the "Games"); and
- any email or support conversations you have with us.
Together these are our "Services". Where an App or Game has its own privacy notice, that notice adds to this policy.
03Information we collect
Information you give us
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to write, such as a description of a problem you're having.
Information collected when you visit the Site
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical information: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this only to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site.
We use AnyAnalytics, our analytics service, to measure visits to the Site and interactions with links to our products. Links to AnyAnalytics include campaign tags identifying the referring page and link placement so we can understand which guides help visitors find the product.
The Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Information from our Apps and Games
The next two sections explain what our Apps and Games do and don't collect.
04Blink
Blink is built to work privately on your Mac.
- On-device data. Your preferences, timers, break history and streaks are stored locally on your Mac. They are not sent to Vexil.
- No account. Blink doesn't require you to create an account or give us your name or email address.
- Pro unlock. Blink Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. To confirm your purchase and unlock Pro, the app uses our purchase provider, RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your App Store transaction details and a random app user ID, not your name or email address.
- Free trial. The 15-day Pro trial is tracked locally on your Mac.
- Apple diagnostics. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your Mac's settings, Apple may give us aggregated crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you. You can turn this off at any time in System Settings.
05Games
Each of our Games has its own privacy notice with full details. In summary, for Bone Yard: Stickman Fighter:
- there are no accounts and no ads, and the game uses no advertising identifiers;
- your progress and settings are stored only on your device;
- anonymous play statistics and crash data are sent to our analytics provider, GameAnalytics, using a random per-install ID. You can turn this off in Settings › Share play stats;
- the phone-to-phone Versus mode briefly uses a connection service to link the two devices; and
- if you use Game Center or Google Play Games, achievements and scores are handled by Apple or Google.
Read the full Bone Yard Privacy Policy.
For Junk Magnet: Scrap Tycoon:
- there are no accounts, in-game ads or in-app purchases;
- your scrapyard and settings are stored only on your device;
- GameAnalytics collects gameplay, usage, device identifier and diagnostic data while Share Gameplay Analytics is on. On iOS, its default user ID is Apple's identifier for vendors (IDFV), which can link events from apps by the same developer on one device. You can turn off event submission in Settings › Share Gameplay Analytics; and
- Transfer Save creates a code you copy yourself. It never goes through our servers.

09How long we keep it
We keep support emails for as long as needed to help you and to maintain reasonable business records, generally no longer than three years. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then deleted. Anonymous game statistics are kept by our analytics provider under its retention policy. Data stored on your device by our Apps and Games stays under your control.
